Initially, I received water-conditioning tablets, not the vinyl repair kit. That was quickly corrected.
This adhesive is second to none. In fact, if you have a pinhole or a small slit, usually the adhesive by itself is sufficient to close the hole for good. If possible, keep pressure off of the repaired area for at least 1 hour.
The vinyl repair material is rolled as tight as a soda straw, making it completely unusable, as packaged. Boil some water, remove from heat, and let the material sit for in the water for 2 or 3 minutes. Remove material from water, lay it on a flat surface, and put a heavy, flat weight on top (such as a cast-iron skillet). Season to taste. Return to boiled water and repeat until vinyl is completely flat.
A heavy, thick washcloth, folded into quarters and saturated with water, will probably work just as well to flatten the vinyl with an iron on high heat and an ironing board. Insure that the vinyl is completely covered with the saturated wash cloth, then press down hard for 10 or 15 seconds. Repeat as necessary. I searched local stores before checking this place out, and no store carried Blue Magic, sales people never heard of it, and suggested other types of glue. Most of them hardly heard of a water bed either!
I am so glad Boyds sells all the products needed for a water bed. Although when I ordered it, there was a mix-up, and the order shipped got cancelled, so I had to order again, then I got double billed, but I made more phone calls, and then it arrived, and I'm very happy with the product and outcome. No more leak.
Easy to use. I got credited on the double billing, no issues with that. Everything is now resolved.
The price here on Boyds is also a good price, and lower than Amazon, which is somewhat unusual. I would recommend Boyd's to anyone who needs any waterbed product. (Posted on 10/31/2019) - Good product Review by Eric

Had a very small puncture hole on my side of our waterbed. After searching many stores, we repaired it 3 different times with kits we could find. All three times resulted in another wet mess . How can such a small hole result in such a soggy bed! I am so happy to find this product. We didn't have to wait too long to get it here, and the repair was fast,and easy.
