I had a waterbed in the past and I slept so well on it that I had to go back. Our last mattress was killing my back. When my old mattress sprung a leak I immediately starting looking for a replacement. After sleeping on the couch a few nights and performing some research I chose this one. I have Fibromyalgia so anyone who has that knows the sleeping problems that can be created. I have never been able to sleep on any other type of bed. For the price you can not get much better for a waterbed. I paid double for my last mattress and it was not as comfortable or as seemingly well made. This is the first bed that I have slept on since I was a kid that when I wake up my back is not aching. I have only had it week so no long term use. We did a lot of research and heard good things about Boyd. This is one of the higher priced models, but the comfort is perfect. You have to adjust the water level to find just the right comfort but we always find the typical average amount of water to be the best for us. (Posted on 3/23/2016)
