This is an amazingly comfortable mattress! filling it was a bit strange because it seems almost too big for the frame BUT that does not affect the comfort, or maybe it is more comfortable because of that? Great support in the middle body and good thinking in the location of the fill valve. There are no waves although there is definitely some movement, as there should be, when one of us gets into or out of the bed... more of a sinking or rising versus wave.
My one complaint is customer service. I can't necessarily say it was bad, it was just non-existent. They messed up our order, sending out only the liner and conditioner, and they knew it well before those were delivered but failed to text or email us about the mistake. It took several days to get it straightened out and every time we talked to them, they didn't seem to have a clue as to w to say to us. Both my husband and I felt that both the people we talked and emailed with must have some significant social interaction issues so shouldn't be interacting with customers. With that said, I would definitely still buy this mattress...the best waterbed mattress we have slept on in 40 years!!! (Posted on 1/23/2021) - Update Review by Steven

I've had this mattress now almost a year. The only problem is that there seems to be a leak where air gets into the mattress and luckily no water is lost. But, I have to bleed the air out of the mattress almost weekly or ignore the sloshing around noise. I contacted customer service a while ago, I recently sent an email and a link to a video of the air bubbles rising near the fill neck. I asked about any resolution or fixes and all my contacting has seemed to fall on deaf ears. I know, I know, everybody is having to deal with this pandemic, but really. My old bed was springing leaks and it was time for a new mattress. The wife kept telling me that I needed something with more support, so I tried a memory foam mattress. I had it for 2 months and constantly woke up because it just wasn't right for me. My back, hips hurt whenever I tried to move. Luckily, they had a try it and like it or return it, I returned it and checked out the Contura Form 5, since it was close to what I used to have. After I got rid of the other mattress I slept on the couch which was 100% better than the memory foam one, the Contura 5 mattress got here in about 2.5 days and what a blessing. I got a new heater and it came with conditioner and liner, so I filled it up siphoned off any air and repeated it in a few days to get the hanger on air bubbles. Now I sleep thru the night and feel great to wake up. The only bad thing is that I have to get up anyway. But this is the best and the shipping was fast. Thanks !!! Received factory new Contura Form 5 really a regency but 1st class product. Comes with water conditioner and Liner. The mattress is a wave less design and settles down from movement within a 1 minute or two which is what I expected. Very comfortable needed quickly as my other mattress had failed. GREAT JOB!
