The Constellation 5 waterbed mattress is thin mill and isn't 95% waveless. The reason I know is because I have owned several 95% waveless mattresses and this one is cheap. (Posted on 8/5/2019) - Perfect Review by Cindy

This is the first replacement mattress I've purchased for my waterbed that is over 30 years old. The material is thinner than my original mattress, but I think it will do the job. It is easy to put pinch marks, so be careful putting it in and holding the corners while making the bed. The waveless features are much better than my old mattress. Overall, I would buy again. I've been sleeping on a waterbed for over 30 years, and I was concerned that I would not be able to find a replacement mattress when the old one was spent. I was pleasantly surprised to find a reasonably priced mattress. 95% wave-less seems to be just right. As noted in other reviews, it does have a bit of a plastic smell (my wife doesn't notice it, but I do), but that seems to be dissipating with time. I would recommend this mattress. Since the 1970s i have been sleeping on a water-bed. This is probably my 5th mattress. I am very pleased with it. well made and came quickly. seams look very good. i didn't want a lumbar pad because of my sleep position and i didn't want a wavy mattress because i am used to waveless. There was a delay in receiving the waterbed mattress, heater and liner because of equipment being down, but had to wait for carpet to be installed. Have been sleeping on the waterbed for a week now and it's the first time in a couple months I don't wake up aching all over. Love my waterbed. There was a six week delay between the time I ordered the mattress and the time it arrived because a manufacturing delay. After a brief manufacturing process delay and a few contacts with customer service, the product was delivered and exceeded all expectations. I am currently utilizing an inferior product made by a Chinese company. Day 1 pinhole. Day 2, more. Then after a couple more in a couple weeks, i may go through the riggamaral of using the far far superior bag Boyd made for me. Havent even used their product yet and i am 100% satisfied so what does that tell you? (Posted on 2/27/2018)
