Blue Magic Waterbed Conditioning Tablets are formulated to control the growth of odor-causing, slime forming bacteria in tube style waterbed mattresses. By adding just one tablet per tube as directed you will extend the life of your vinyl and fiber filled waterbed mattress tubes. Without conditioner, your vinyl tubes may dry and crack, not to mention the foul smell that will result from untreated water. Each single tablet, when added to a waterbed tube, will treat your mattress for up to one year, depending upon mattress type and size. If you are using well water, consider doubling or tripling the number of Blue Magic Waterbed Tablets, because there is more active matter in untreated well water.
