BOYD FLOTATION POLICIES


Cancellations - You may cancel your order for a full refund only before the item(s) ship. Call an Boyd Flotation Customer Care Specialist at 866-926-2693.

Refunds – A Full Refund will be issued if order is canceled within the cancellation period mentioned in the "Cancellations" section. Most refunds are processed within 24 hours of receipt.

Returns - Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Item must be unopened, unused and in its original packaging. Our water mattresses are shipped vacuum packed. This vacuum must be intact, with no water having been put in mattress. If damaged please see “Damages” section for further details. Call Boyd Flotation at 866-926-2693 for a Return Authorization (RA) number. Once we issue a RA number, you are responsible to arrange and pay for return shipping. Please purchase tracking when you send your product back. You will be responsible in the event of a lost or damaged package. We ask that you send your package to us by UPS or FEDEX - If you select to use the post office, you must purchase delivery confirmation. Purchase enough insurance to cover the value of your return. Include the RA number on the outside of the package. No return shipments will be accepted other than those authorized by Boyd Flotation with a RA number. Unauthorized shipments to Boyd Flotation will be refused and you will be fully liable for ship to and return shipping costs. If in rare instances where you receive the wrong item, do not accept the item. When the carrier drops off the item they will have you sign a delivery receipt, please note in your own words on the form which item is incorrect and refuse that item. Call us right away (within 24 hours) and we will have the product replaced. Returns will only be picked up Monday - Friday between 9am-5pm. Please have someone available over 18 yrs of age for the pickup agent during the scheduled time. If items are incomplete then the buyer will be charged.

Restocking Fees - Boyd Flotation does not charge restocking fees.

Non Returnable Products - Boyd Flotation does not accept returns of the following items: Any item that has been used; Filled water mattress; Blue Magic Chemicals/Conditioners; Blue Magic parts; Blue Magic kits

Inspection of Delivery & Damages - All shipments are insured against damage. It is your responsibility to fully inspect your shipment with the delivery personnel present. Note all damages present at time of delivery or you will be responsible for all replacement and repair costs. Any damage caused from shipping must be noted on the delivery receipt or the insurance cannot be claimed - No Exceptions!! If you sign for the Proof Of Delivery with no comments that means you are signing it to be "Free and Clear." When your order arrives, please take the time to ensure the paperwork is accurate and that the correct item(s) have been delivered.

IF THERE IS APPARENT SERIOUS DAMAGE PLEASE REFUSE DELIVERY IN FULL AND NOTE IN DETAIL ON THE DRIVER'S PAPERWORK THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE.

Report to Boyd Flotation any claim of damage that is not noted on the Bill of Lading. You may be asked to take pictures of the damage close up and the full view of the damaged item. Boyd Flotation will pick up the damaged item and issue either a replacement or full refund as you specify. You will need to accept delivery for any replacement item to complete the order process.

Clearance - Merchandise Sold "As is" or  "Clearance" are FINAL & will not be eligible for warranty, exchange, allowance, refund or service

Sales Tax – Applicable sales tax will be added to orders delivered to Missouri and California residents.

Credit Card Processing – All credit card payments are processed through Boyd Flotation, and will be displayed on your credit card statement as such.  In the event a credit card does not process for any reason, we will at our discretion, either void the order and notify the customer or process the order at a later date or process the payment in multiple smaller amounts until the item is paid in full.  Items cannot be shipped until payment in full has been collected.

CODs – No Cash On Delivery is accepted.

Check or Money Orders – No Check or Money Order is accepted.

Billing Errors & Omissions - Any errors or omissions will be corrected and either billed or refunded to the customer as necessary.  If an order is incorrect, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify us within 24 hours of our sending the order confirmation email to the customer. 

Web site Catalog References – All references to size, weight, construction and color are approximate.  We are not responsible for typographical errors.  While we always strive to provide the most true to color images for our products the color or shade can vary from your computer monitor's settings. Boyd Flotation cannot guarantee the color match of any product due to nature of the online shopping constrictions.  For additional information please email support@boydflotation.com

Pricing & Availability - While Boyd Flotation strives to provide accurate product and pricing information, pricing or typographical errors may occur. Boyd Flotation cannot confirm the price of an item until after you order. In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information Boyd Flotation will contact you for instructions. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Sales tax will be charged on your order as applicable.

Changes of Address – Please read your sales receipt carefully to ensure that your address and other personal information is accurate. You are responsible for any inaccuracies in your address and other personal information. You must make any change of the delivery address or change in the order via fax, email or by telephone and the change will be binding only if the change is confirmed 48 hours within the date of purchase. Changes in your address or other personal information may delay delivery, and you may be charged a fee for deliveries made to you at the wrong address on your sales receipt if such address is incorrect.


Warranty:

Each Boyd Flotation softside waterbed and hardside waterbed comes with an individual warranty. Warranty terms vary per mattress. Please view the product description for the exact length/terms of the warranty on a per product basis. Boyd Flotaton's Limited Warranties only apply to products under normal indoor household use. Any improper care and use such as damage caused by improper use or installation, overfilling, tears, punctures, components damaged or stained by water spillage, damage caused by shipper or consumer, will not be covered by Boyd Flotation's Limited Warranty.

Limitations- This warranty is limited to the original purchaser only. You may purchase an Limited Lifetime Warranty for an addition $49.95. This warranty will be null and void if products were purchased for commercial use.



Shipping Information:

Delivery Expectations - All shipments are shipped via Common Carrier, Fed Ex, or USPS. Most orders will be shipped within 2-5 business days. Your order may take up to 2 weeks to arrive. We have no control over delivery dates and therefore make no promises or guarantees as to the delivery company performing as it promises. If your delivery will be delayed Boyd Flotation will notify you in the event that this happens. If an item is on back order we will contact you within 24 hours of your order and advise of the estimated time of delivery.

Visible merchandise damage must be reported to our Customer Service Department at (866) 926-2693 or support@boydflotation.com within 24 hours of receipt. (see “Damages” section for more detail)

Delivery to Hawaii and Alaska is not available.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
